Ingmar Bergman was given the award “The Golden Beetle/Guldbaggen” three times, for the directing of “The Silence” in 1964 and “Fanny and Alexander” in 1983 and for the manuscript to “The Best Intentions” in 1992.
“Beer street” Engraving, 1751, later printing with modern hand colouring. 38,8 x 32,3 cm (sheet: 57 x 44 cm). Passepartout with written dedication: “Presented to Ingmar Bergman -by The British Film Institute- on the occasion of his visit to England and the first performance of a season of his films at the National Film Theatre, London. May, 1959″.
